Obama Uber Alles?

I can’t think of a good title for this post that doesn’t include profane references to body parts. Please submit your ideas below.

Update: The winning entry submitted by Richard Warnick.

Summary: On Glenn Beck, Ben Stein, while discussing Sen. Barack Obama’s plan to deliver his speech accepting the Democratic presidential nomination at Denver’s Invesco Field, stated that he did not “like the idea of Senator Obama giving his acceptance speech in front of 75,000 wildly cheering people.” Stein further stated: “Seventy-five-thousand people at an outdoor sports palace, well, that’s something the Fuehrer would have done.”

These Beck and Stein are pitiful people who contribute nothing to the world. The fact that CNN is paying Glen Beck is proof our big media is merely junk capitalism, unaccountable to virtually any of the principles of journalism.

Ein reich, ein volk, ein Obama! Hey, he already addressed 200,000 cheering Germans…

Cliff – this is part of a larger theme that Digby was blogging about last week – trying to stigmatize large scale participation in the political process as inherently problematic.

Yes, But I need a title. The only one I can come up with is “Two Shriveled D*^ks Missing Balls”.

That works. I’m feeling pissed off today over the shooting at the UUA church in TN so I have no shame about swearing.

Whoever claimed Beck or Stein as journalists? Beck is a radio jock with a TV show, Stein biggest accomplishment is selling eyedrops, which is ostensibly better than selling junk made in China.

It’s entertainment, and people laugh at the guys, thhe self deprecate constantly.

What about that sense of humor? Guess it depends on who’s ox is getting gored.

Glenn Beck is the man. Glenn straight up says he isn’t a Journalist. Actually this same show was very interesting.. Before Stein came on Beck talked about how the DNC in Denver weren’t paying their taxes on gasoline they were pumping. Unbelievable hypocrisy…

If Beck isn’t a journalist, what’s he doing on CNN?

Figure you answered your own question there Richard, about any questions you had about “See it again” CNN.

Beck falls under the category of commentator.

You can pretty much assume that if your job is to put on makeup and host a regular program, you are not a journalist.

Your question assumes everyone on CNN is a journalist. I would suggest that their are very few journalist working for CNN or Fox.

Hey Cliff, that is an interesting comment… I see where you are coming from on that.

Why not go the rest of the way? There are no journalists in the media anywhere.

    It’s all agenda based reporting.

    The truth ‘aint out there.
