Senate Finance Committee To Drop Public Option

This cannot stand!

Update: With 2 hours of this posting last night there were over 5000 comments.  As of now 8am MDT, there are almost 12,000 comments.  This is exceptionally unusual.

These officials said participants were on track to exclude a requirement many congressional Democrats seek for large businesses to offer coverage to their workers. Nor would there be a provision for a government insurance option, despite President Barack Obama’s support for such a plan.

    Senate Waterloo?

    Probably not.

Saving grace with the help of the media and falling short is more likely until America honors some form of law.

How Obama and Pelosi handled Cap’n trade is why they are losing the health care debate. They thought by ram-rodding cap’n trade in the dead of night while everyone was preoccupied with Michael Jackson’s death that they could get it through with little debate and opposition, but oh how wrong they were.

In fact, America’s disgussed along with many in Congress of how Cap’n Trade was handled is making it very difficult for them to sell Obamacare.

The grand irony is that not only did Cap’n Trade kill health care but it also killed Cap’n Trade.

And the GOP cannot be blamed on this one.

Socialized medicine = gulag archipelago, little white pills and syringes falling incessantly from the sky!

    Discuss.

Fewer Americans are afraid of socialism anymore. A majority want single-payer government health care. Support for the public option is 72 percent.

Last night, Jon Stewart easily tripped up Bill Kristol on the issue of government-provided health care.

Stewart wrapped up Kristol’s argument by stating, “So what you are suggesting is that the government could run the best health care system for Americans, but it’s a little too costly, so we should have the shitty insurance company health care.”

Not surprising. Where I live there are many native tribes on reservations. Quilyute Days were last week, lot’s of paddling, partying, and fireworks. T shirts were sold, Twilight is big now, and the area was the setting for the book.

    Very popular T shirt;

“You can trust the Government, just ask an Indian”.

    We are all Indians now

Democrats are wimps, they don’t deserve to be in office.
Instead of working for the public they work and they are prostituting themselves to the insurance companies.
The should be ashamed, bunch of bastards..
