Republican/Teabagging Liars at CPAC, Starring Mitt Romney: Part 1 of 999

Mitt Romney is a LIAR

Mitt Romney is a LIAR

There was a time when no one in the media, mainstream or otherwise, would use the word liar or lying to describe Republicans. Rachel Maddow was the first, and I thank her for that.

Maddow has more guts and grit than the hairiest, gun-toting Republican, teabagging bigot out there. That’s why most of them are afraid to go on her show. Spineless to the last.

Most of all, Maddow does America the greatest favor by carefully documenting their lies.*

*It is surprising even to me, that Mitt Romney is perhaps the biggest liar of them all.

I just said yesterday that fact-checking CPAC speeches is an exercise in futility because of the phenomenal lie-to-word ratio. Rachel did not let that deter her, although time was limited to catching just a few lies.

Willard even lies about his name, so I’m not surprised.

TPM is live-blogging from CPAC. It’s almost time for Michele Bachmann to step up to the podium…

Updated: Bachmann: “We are in the middle of a political bull market. Doesn’t it feel wonderful?”

I called it bull yesterday already.

I posted this one FaceBook. Not One Utahn has come to Romney’s defense.

The Whitehouse should come up with something so universally GOOD for the Preznit to do, in public, just to watch the right wing contort themselves trying to find ways to bash it – that even the ridiculous right-wing media will have no choice but to point and laugh.

OT but I’m too depressed to write a separate post. The Friday document dump today is the long-awaited DOJ Office of Professional Responsibility report on the Yoo and Bybee torture memos. As previously leaked, the original finding of professional misconduct has been scrubbed. It’s a whitewash.

Update: DOJ investigators said Yoo’s incriminating e-mails had been deleted and could not be recovered.

I think it should be abundantly clear to everyone, even his erstwhile supporters, that Romney will say anything to anyone at anytime if he thinks it will bring will closer to the presidency.

Evidence that America is, in fact, becoming a nation of stupid and susceptible people!!!!!

The true irony is the fact that teabaggers, on the whole, stand to gain the most from Obama’s policies.

Somehow, we have raised of bunch of masochists who actually prefer being lied to. Very strange times.
