TSA Enhanced Screening Procedures Explained

Shorter explanation: “You gave up your Constitutional rights when you bought a plane ticket.” Also, TSA has never caught a real terrorist.

Here are the new rules (via the ACLU): Know Your Options at the Airport

It’s been a long time since there has been an issue that both the left and the right can honestly get behind. I think this whole issue would be resolve in short order if a reporter would simply ask the President at his next press event if he would be ok with a TSA agent grabbing his daughter’s vagina and breast. I would put money that the next day the TSA would be revising the “pat down” methods. That video of the little girl yelling for the TSA agent to stop touching her is sickening.

There is a point where we as a nation need to collectively say that enough is enough. Sure we want to be safe from the prospect of planes blowing up but we also want to be safe from the prospect of having our children molested by government agents before boarding a plane. There is no balance here.

My family was planning a trip to Indiana and Michigan this summer. We will now be giving serious consideration to driving. The first duty of any parent is to protect their children!

    One last thing…

Homeland Security Secretary, Janet “Gate Rape” Napolitano needs to be fired yesterday. Also, I would like to see what the security procedures are like for the most secure passenger aircraft in the world, Air Force One. I’ll put money that the President, his family, his staff and the media don’t have to go through “random” Gate Rape procedures.

For those without children, this is from the Good Touch Bad Touch Program. The Majority of parents out there should be familiar with this program.

”When teaching your child about sexual abuse, talk about 3 different types of touch: good touch, bad touch and sexual abuse touch. “Good touches” are those touches that make us feel happy, safe and loved. Good touches can make us feel warm inside or can make us feel like a smile. Emphasize that most of the touch we get is good touch. Good touches are so important! “Bad touches” are those touches that hurt us; they feel like an ouch. Some examples are kicking, hitting and biting. “Sexual abuse touch” is defined as “forced or tricked touch of private body parts.” The key words are forced and tricked. A force is when someone makes you do something you don’t want to do or don’t understand. A trick is when someone lies to you, fools you, pretends or calls something a game, that really isn’t a game, so they can touch your private body parts or have you touch theirs. Explain that sexual abuse is confusing because it doesn’t necessarily hurt; the touch can feel good. And that is confusing to children.
Teach your child that their body is their own and that no one has the right to touch them in a way that makes them feel uncomfortable or in a way that they don’t like.
Teach your child that they have the right to say “NO!” to sexual abuse. Teach them that they can say “NO!” to anyone who might want to sexually abuse them; even if the offender is an adult; even if the offender is someone they know.” – http://www.goodtouchbadtouch.com/gtbt

I wonder what the TSA believes we should now be telling our kids about Good Touch Bad Touch when they are being forcefully molested by a TSA agent. The worst thing is this makes the parent is powerless to intercede and protect the child while they are being violated. This could forever break a crucial bond of trust between a parent and a child concerning good touch bad touch.
Believe me, this is not intended as an attack on Obama, but he is the only person left in the country who can put a stop to this RIGHT NOW! I truly believe that is this is not stopped it will become Obama’s Water Boarding issue. He will carry this through the rest of his presidency. I personally will design, produce and raise funds to air ads for the 2012 election labeling him as the Molestation President if he does not act soon to end this terrible practice by the TSA.

From an AP report published in the Fresno Bee:

On Friday, the GOP’s John Boehner was guided past the metal detectors and hand inspections given to other passengers on his flight home to Ohio.

I strongly suspect the aggressive “pat-down” procedure is intended to punish and humilate those who refuse the scanner. Of course TSA won’t admit this.

Larry is right, if anybody in al-Qaeda has a sense of humor they are ROFL.

In answer to R.O.’s point, at a press conference in Portugal today President Obama admitted that he doesn’t go through airport security these days– thus has no idea what TSA is doing. I thought President Bush was out of touch, now we have another one! Don’t these guys watch the news or read newspapers after they get to the White House?

I’ll put money that Obama does eventually put a stop to this. I doubt it will even take a reporter embarrassing him by asking him about his own kids. He’s a father and any good parent would have to see how wrong this is.

    RW:
I don’t think you have to embarrass him at all regarding Iraq and Afghanistan. I think he knows full well that he must do everything he possibly can to end those two conflicts or at least reduce them to back page reading before the next election if he is going to have a chance at re-election. I just can’t see his base coming out the way they did last time if Iraq and Afghanistan are still festering and if GITMO is still open.

    ‘Leadership’s hard work’. Sum f*ckwit.

Back on the TSA topic: This security bullsh*t with 20% + unemployment and the Repugs just voting to f*ck people is the g*ddamned story.

You heard me right: It’s time for a national adult conversation.

A commenter at another board posted a link to a survey of TSA officers, known as TSOs. They HATE the new policies and what they are being required to do.

You know who else hated what they were being required to do?

Yes, (I’m being careful not to invoke a violation of Godwin’s Law).

    Wait for it….

I just cannot help but believe that if the hypersensitive wingnuts get their way on this – less intrusive pat downs – they will be the first to point fingers at TSA and Obama when an underwear bomber successfully brings down a plane. Will someone please explain to these morons that all junk looks pretty much the same, at least to within one or two standard deviations, and that they have nothing to hide going through a scanning machine?

    Fear, moral crusader, and hypersensitivity:

I think the ‘pat-down’ should come with an orgasm until the machines can be confirmed to be radiation free. (this may take some getting used to, but will inevitably make our society a better place.

Secondly, I don’t like having our sex parts referred to as ‘junk’ (except
    Beohners’).

Lastly, I’m trying very hard to bring my somewhat emotional commenting to a more mature level. Here’s hoping.

I don’t know whether they caved or not – I went through SLC security on Wednesday not unlike any other day. Maybe these hypersensitive baggers foaming at the mouth over the “demise of America” as they see it finally realize they look like a bunch of whining idiots.
