Rick Perry is trying desperately to find some way of making Republican voters like him. During one of the debates this weekend he actually claimed that he would reinvade Iraq immediately. Seriously.
Why not? Worked so well the last time. And we didn’t have a reason then either…
Only in America can “serious” politicians and media figures openly debate which country to attack next as if wars of aggression are perfectly acceptable. This is what we get for not turning Bush and Cheney over to The Hague.
Perry isn’t going to win anything because Americans are tired of stupid cowboys and he isn’t getting enough money from giant corporations or support from giant corporate media.
It’s just irksome that ANY stupid cowboy, cheerleader, choir boy, old far, etc, etc, even gets this kind of press attention when other important offerings / issues are totally glossed over.
