Hatred for the Kenyan Usurper Means Romney Can Get Away With Literally Anything

This is the most honest, well-written encapsulation of what we are experiencing in the election.

Completely wrong. Liar Mitt Romney Lying

Fresh lies from Romney, or the Republican Congress

Driftglass Writes: Don’t me wrong: I appreciate the careful documentation the Many Lies of Team Romney during this election season. But I look at those efforts less as the drafting of a bill of particulars against the GOP, and more like Josephus gathering up an armful of books from burning Jerusalem and documenting the great city’s demise from a perspective in the ruins.
Why? Because for the Conservative 47% of the active electorate, the day Willard sewed up the Republican primary was the day it stopped mattering to them what lies Willard shits down their throat. Willard has calculated (correctly) that their bottomless, mindless, berserk hatred for the Kenyan Usurper means he can get away with saying and doing literally anything and then completely reversing himself hours later. And so, unless he transforms himself into a Scary Democrat Negro (hence my graphic), he has the base locked down.

Willard has calculated (correctly) that the average “undecided” voter is an idiot who is barely aware that Barack Obama is President, much less who said what when. Lies? Truth? All the “undecided” knows for sure is that people on both side should stop being so mean!

Willard has calculated (correctly) that most of American media is a joke run by hacks with the moral compasses of Tijuana donkey show pimps, who are congenitally unable to call a liar a liar and who get paid on commission each time they say “Both Sides Do It” when a Republican shits the bed in public.

Random Conservative idiots with spluttering apoplexy

Pointing to each morning’s fresh lies from Team Romney, or the Republican Congress, or Boss Limbaugh and his legions of imitators, or random Conservative idiots with spluttering apoplexy, has become the the bread and butter of Liberal teevee, radio and print. And good on them (us) for providing that service.

It does, however, beg the question, “Who the Hell are they talking to?” Because there is no referee in this fight, kids.

There is no umpire, here: no impartial judge; no jury of 12 men good and true.

For us, the playing field will never be level and we must stop playing as if it were, because there is no cavalry coming to rescue us…but us.

And most importantly; remember that however long the odds or however discouraging a given day might be, we are a hardy and tenacious stock and our clear understanding of who we are and where we came from gives us a secret weapon that no movement based on a contempt for reality and a tissue of lies can match: the power to summon giants.

Address of John F. Kennedy upon Accepting the Liberal Party Nomination for President, New York, New York, September 14, 1960…

I am as guilty as the media is for investing too much energy pointing out the lies only to have them fall on deaf ears. The soaring level of hypocrisy, obvious as it is outrageous, among the righteous, morally superior, religious and/or otherwise just plain racists is sufficient evidence to anyone who is paying attention that morality is unilaterally customizable on an ad hoc basis for the pedestrian religious right (Republicans) in this country.

So I will no longer entertain moral arguments from religious Republicans. From now on, I shall withhold my otherwise generous respect and civility in discourse with these well-groomed, Bible-thumping cretins. For the first time in my life, I finally understand how entire nations stood by and watched and/or helped Hitler exterminate millions of innocent men, women and children without a shred of self-examination. They were merely Republicans by a different name.

One more thing:

Calls for civility, especially from some in the Mormon community deserve your contempt. They are a gratuitous demand we excuse the “Many Lies of Team Romney” we’ve see during this election season. The uncommon duplicity, distortion and noise coming from Republicans is as violent assault on our Democratic principles as the illegal Republican assault on our voting rights.

Civility is speaking out against this assault. Incivility is defending it.

Whether you are citizens of America or citizens of the world, ask of us here the same high standards of strength and sacrifice which we ask of you. With a good conscience our only sure reward, with history the final judge of our deeds, let us go forth to lead the land we love, asking His blessing and His help, but knowing that here on earth God’s work must truly be our own.

In the address of John F. Kennedy upon Accepting the Liberal Party Nomination for President, New York, New York, September 14, 1960 JFK seems to describe himself quite separate and distant from liberals today and the liberal of the type of Cliff. JFK’s definition of liberal describes Mitt and not Cliff.

Although JFK seems to be too much of a fan of Wilson, who was a bitter segregationist, in the true tradition of the Democratic Party.

In 1912, “an unprecedented number” of African Americans left the Republican Party to cast their vote for Wilson, a Democrat. They were encouraged by his promises of support for minorities. However, once in office, Wilson’s cabinet members expanded racially segregationist policies. Black leaders who had supported Wilson in the 1912 election were angered when Wilson placed segregationist white Southerners in charge of many executive departments, and the administration acted to reduce the already-meager number of African-Americans in political-appointee positions. Wilson’s cabinet officials, with the president’s blessing, proceeded to establish official segregation in most federal government offices – in some departments for the first time since 1863. New facilities were designed to keep the races working there separated.
Historian Eric Foner says, “[Wilson's] administration imposed full racial segregation in Washington and hounded from office considerable numbers of black federal employees.” Segregation was also quickly implemented at the Post Office Department headquarters in Washington, D.C. Many African American employees were downgraded and even fired. The segregation implemented in the Department of Treasury and the Post Office Department involved not only screened-off working spaces, but separate lunchrooms and toilets.

Apparently JFK is a big fan.

    Brewski,

It appears you’ve missed entirely, the point of my post

…and in the process, proved it.

  5. #5 by Jonesy on October 12, 2012 - 5:56 pm

Yeah, I’m really this, but I say I’m that, is really the truest hallmark of the Dummycrat party.

The only Democrat who actually did what he said and walked the walk for better or worse, was Andy “the Asskicker” Jackson. Oddly enough he was the founder of the party, and liked to genocide Indians.

The point of this post is smear, there is little else you are good at Cliff.

Well, you do make an adequate doorstop..

  7. #7 by brewski on October 12, 2012 - 6:11 pm

No, you miss the point. The point is that the Democrats have always been and will always be totalitarian authoritarian racists. You miss the point, and in the process prove the point.

JFK’s father, Joseph Kennedy, had a reputation of being pro-Nazi or at least pro-Hitler. Joe was a bootlegger and a member of the Mafia, although he hated the Jewish Mafia (Mishpucka) boss Meyer Lansky (real name Maier
Suchowljansky). He was U.S. Ambassador to Britain but was recalled because of his pro-Hitler viewpoint.

As long as we’re talking about Hitler, I think it would be good to bring up the close relationship Hitler had with religion.

Personally, I think we should focus on the present and the issues that are banging our heads right now.

  10. #10 by Jonesy on October 12, 2012 - 8:04 pm

Larry, the past is future, and there is no escape. Study of history proves this, in the origins of things is the clue to their path, and even the means of their end.

  11. #11 by Jonesy on October 12, 2012 - 8:07 pm

Yeah Larry, it absolutely concerns me that obama spent decades being brainwashed in “reverend” wright’s church.

  12. #12 by Larry Bergan on October 12, 2012 - 8:20 pm

Hey Jonsey, you’re really concerned about Obama’a religious roots and not Romney’s.

This goes against your “they’re all the same” meme, doesn’t it?

  13. #13 by Jonesy on October 12, 2012 - 8:50 pm

I am absolutely not worried about romney being a mormon, he was the governor of Massachusetts the most liberal state in the union and one of the most vehement about people keeping their religion out of their politics. I have lived in Utah, and to a person that is mormon, once they truly get you are not going to join, they make about the best neighbors I have ever had.

The mark of distinction between obama and romney, is that obama has done the unconstitutional and has committed war crimes, and romney hasn’t, That is how they are not the same..

As well, there are hardly enough mormons on earth to attempt some type of theological takeover, on the other hand obama sat in a church for decades listening to man spew hate, and brainwashing his charges with prejudice and hatred. I am far more concerned about that, and have never seen that from the mormon end. Never.

    Jonsey/noname takes a side.

    Call the press!

Where can we tell the press to find you?

  15. #15 by Jonesy on October 12, 2012 - 9:14 pm

I will hold romney to the same account as any who would serve sworn under the US Constitution.

It isn’t so much a side, as the simple choice to spend my vote, on the lessor of 2 weasels.

One of weasels is a murderer..so I must vote for the other, not so much a choice of “side” but a simple tactical decision. If romney continues obama’s path, then he too can stand in the dock along with bush/cheney/obama for their war crimes and treason trials for violations of their oath with regard to the US Constitution.

    That is all.

  16. #16 by cav on October 12, 2012 - 9:24 pm

Seems to me a vote for someone like Jill Stein or Rocky Anderson might be even more effective. Obama the proven may not get his second term, but, supposing all voters who’ve simply had enough of the corporate powered duopoly simply reject it. The only thing anyone will lose is a still further slide to the right (wrong).

  17. #17 by Jonesy on October 12, 2012 - 10:36 pm

As per the post, it goes both ways, the electorate on the left has it’s group of filth.

Cliff how can you credibly talking about alleged Romney Lies when you flat out ignore every Obama lie? To refer to a scripture, first take the beam out of your own eye before trying to take the mote our of ours.

The BOMB is going off on Face the Nation, it’s clear the admin is lying to no effect over the killing and sodomizing of our gay ambassador in Benghazi.

Graham, then Issa, the admin just had the last coffin nail pounded into it’s casket. The epitaph will be the same as bush,

    “obama lied, people died”.

  27. #29 by cav on October 14, 2012 - 9:53 am

Sadly those dead and dying people will likely be of the Islamic caste, well, just because.

Squashing a few bankers, corporatists and politicians, who are closer to the root of the problems, is totally not going to happen. Again, just because.

Somebody’s gonna die, and it’s always better that it be those ‘over there’, even though they’re often innocent family members, than those over ‘here’, even though they be detestable, admitted criminal greed-mongers.

Nice job creating a Just society.

Yeah cav, it goes on and on, and the reason is like what the “Hollywood Dead” sing about.

    I don’t wanna die

    SO YOU’RE GONNA HAVE TO!!!

    Oops, that is “Hollywood Undead”

Larry has deleted my posts because he is trying to save obama. Can’t save what won’t save itself.

So I have had to repost them all. Sorry for your inconvenience.

  33. #35 by cav on October 14, 2012 - 7:06 pm

    No shit?

Suppose the notoriously murderous job of president came open, and there were no applicants? We’d be getting somewhere then.

In the time it took for the ‘supreme’ court to decide the chimp would become the president, I had an unexplainable feeling of freedom and lightheartedness – mixed of course with the ominous knowledge that they were cracking that egg, and the omelet making would commence. They really did hate us for our freedom – the ‘supremes’ that is.

  34. #36 by Revolver on October 14, 2012 - 7:42 pm

Yep, and with the advent of IDWC of the NDAA they REALLY hate us for our freedoms, enough so that obama has decided to sponsor the dismantling of CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS!!

  35. #37 by cav on October 14, 2012 - 7:49 pm

    He IS the ‘decider’ now.

  36. #38 by Revolver on October 14, 2012 - 8:16 pm

Yeah, but even bush was unable to produce the absolute constitution destroying IDWC clause of the NDAA.

This president and congress who passed this law have violated the constitution, taken away rights that the founders claimed for all American citizens as INALIENABLE….

…and now they are not, they are gone. I cannot stay.

There’s been a lot written about Obama’s character, but besides remembering the old saw about not believing any of what you hear or read, especially knowing the media is a contrivance of the corporations and the war state who really DO have ALL the money. So much so that in many ways even the President is something of a ‘sock-puppet’. There’s also the opposition party, who’ve sworn to sabotage the peoples choice in the last election which they are doing quite effectively. And, I do not doubt that aside from all of the tempting cash offered up by the .01% with the quid pro quo strings firmly attached, there have been threats to his and his family’s lives, all meant to persuade the ‘decider’ to make the ‘correct’ decisions.

Which is to say I think the ultimate power imbued in the office has corrupted the present occupant and will corrupt the next, and on and on till this antiquated structure experiences a critical rewrite. Now that may not occur until after such tolls as will be dished up by our insatiable denial – and I wouldn’t preclude ‘world-class’ death and destruction, but any survivors will be on the spot to glean what they can from our failures and attempt corrections.

This shit all works. I doubt there’s anyone who could run that gauntlet. I really do.

I have to stop for now. Apple pie awaits.
