I have heard that “men forget but never forgive, women forgive but never forget.” I don’t know if this is true. It is looking more and more like neither forgetting or forgiving are in the cards for Rush’s war on women.
Rush, I am sure we all recall, is a serial sexist prick and low life of the worst kind. Along with fantastic comments like “I love the women’s movement, especially from behind” and throwing around terms like “feminazi” he also loves a good personal attack. Those of us with memories that work further back than breakfast might recall that he attacked Sandra Fluke (not her testimony) and engaged in some good old fashioned slut shaming. In his book testifying that a roommate was prescribed birth control pills for the hormonal effect of limiting growths and was denied them is the same as wanting so much sex that you can’t afford to pay for all the condoms. Ah small government conservatism, where healthcare is a sin, but nosing around other peoples bedrooms is proper behavior.
Well, feminists, both male and female, decided the blathering gas bag of the hysterical right was a step too far, and organized a boycott. Which, if it is done by the right is “the free market at work” but if done by the left is “economic terrorism.” Anyway, his drug royal addicted-ness was unimpressed. His advertisers would remain with him, this would all blow over, and order would be restored…
November 17th, Cumulus radio received a downgrade from Moody’s, who stated “uncertainties associated with the radio business as a whole and the acknowledged difficulties the company is encountering are cause for caution.”
What acknowledged difficulties?
“CEO Lew Dickey reported in two previous quarters that Limbaugh advertising is down and that the show is a drag on earnings.”
So I guess that all blew over.
“Clear Channel, the parent of Premiere Networks, the Rush syndicator is $21 billion in debt. They have been firing employees in small numbers so as to not appear that the company is undergoing large scale layoffs. It would look bad for Mr. Romney if his former company fired Clear Channel workers en masse.”
Well, as long as Rush is winning. Maybe the math whizzes who figured out the Romney landslide can figure out how 21 billion in debt is a positive number.

These guys always figure they can overcome any debt by fooling us into thinking they are winning by firing the radio and TV personalities who tell us the truth and replacing them with sports, religious programing or complete tripe like Limbaugh, Fox “news” and their disgusting clones.
The generation on the cusp of prominence isn’t buying the facade and no amount of dirty money and lies is going to persuade them to give up their children’s futures to a bunch of failures propped up by the 2%.
That’s my hope.

If Obama didn’t need Florida, Virginia and Ohio to win, then that is bad news for republicans.

Everything about this legitimate election was bad news for the fakes.
Obama won Florida, Virginia AND Ohio.
The exact margins in favor of Obama are unknown by design, but much larger then reported. This wasn’t a landslide, it was a Dust Bowl!

Limbag isn’t making his fellow broadcasters or the – esteemed – market place around him happy. If it’s actually true that his comments about one woman is his demise, it would be a thing of panoramic beauty.
