A lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes

Mark Twain wrote, “A lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes.” And that was before the invention of Faux News Channel.

The Union Protester Who Punched Fox News Comedian Steven Crowder Was Acting in Self-Defense, Will Not Be Prosecuted

Remember when conservative comedian and Fox News contributor Steven Crowder was punched in the face by a union activist outside a Michigan protest? Crowder made a big deal about it… Then came the unsurprising revelation that the video was misleadingly edited to make Crowder look like an innocent, if obnoxious, victim.

…[O]n Monday, Ingham County Prosecutor Stuart Dunnings III announced he will not press charges against the protester, who Dunnings said was trying to defend himself.

So what you are saying is that if a Michigan state employee, Obama supporter, Democrat, UAW stooge, says that a man getting up off the ground and lunging at someone and swinging at him and screaming “I’m going to kill you” is self defense, that makes it so?

You are a joke and your posts are a bad joke.

It seems that the prosecutor did not appreciate the deceptively edited video. Luckily Faux News accidentally aired the unedited version that Crowder didn’t want anyone to see.

I watched the unedited and that is self defense as much as my ass is.

    Brewski,

I think the point is, don’t fuck with Union “stooges.” On a bad day, they would kick your useless ass back to the cave you came out of.

…and I would pay to watch.

btw: Im just testing the comment operation.

I can always count on the leftist Authoritarians to resort to and defend violence.

Brewski, There is no such thing as leftist authoritarian. I am just your run of the mill asshole who has not respect for anonymous conservative authoritarians.

Authoritarianism predicts that you would develop a strong conviction in favor of the other authoritarian asshole based on a split second of blurry video.

An fair-minded person would ask instead, why Crowder edited the tape and further refuses to address the same.

Liberals, according to decades of research, are more discerning where authoritarians possess over-developed strength of conviction further strengthened when present with facts that challenge their conviction.

    Have you seen that research.

Why is there no one representing in the heather box labeled libertarian right? Too pink for the Nazis?

And there’s certainly nothing ‘authoritarian’ about always being ‘right’ (wrong).

How many times does this have to happen.

The left tells the truth while the right lies and within a couple of months the left is proven to be right. Over and over and over again.

The lies make the “news” and the truth doesn’t because it’s “old news” by the time the truth comes out..

Is this true part of the story being played over and over all over the media? Well, of course not! Which brings us back to the famous quote from a Russian in the 70′s who said, “at least the Russians knew they were being lied to”.

    America! Wake the fuck up!

Larry, what are you talking about? There was no lie. The simple truth is that a Democratic Authoritarian-loving hack didn’t want to prosecute one of his own thugs so he dropped the charges. That’s it. The only truth is the corruption of our judicial system by the lefties.

    brewski:

The right accuses the left of what they’re doing. Nothing new here. Might as well watch football.

Gee, I wonder who Mark Twain would side with, given the circumstances of these dark days of one party rule.

I doubt Mark Twain would describe a man getting up off the ground and lunging at another man swinging away and screaming “I’m going to kill you” as self defense.

Such a provocateur can make little guys, rank and file folks like teachers, garbage men and others, so very easy to ignore.

The argument and dust-up are all anybody needs to know about. Forget that the proles are being fucked every which way, and the rich are getting richer.
