Dave Chappelle ‘Deep Impact’ with Alien and Asteriod. “It’s the President’s Fault!”

This Dave Chappelle sketch is among a body of work Dave produced in the late 90’s and into Bush’s first term.

This one is especially prescient.

Every black President we’ve had has been a disaster, except for James Earl Jones. ;-)

James Earl Jones in “The Man” (1972)

When the President and Speaker of the House are killed in a building collapse, and the Vice-President declines the office due to age and ill-health, Senate President pro tempore Douglas Dilman (James Earl Jones) suddenly becomes the first black man to occupy the Oval Office.

Tommy ‘Tiny’ Lister Jr. in “The Fifth Element” (1997)
Morgan Freeman in “Deep Impact” (1998)
Dennis Haysbert in “24” (Fox, 2001)
Chris Rock in “Head of State” (2003)
Terry Alan Crews in “Idiocracy” (2006)
    Danny Glover in “2012” (2009)
Blair Underwood in “The Event” (NBC, 2010)
Jamie Foxx in “White House Down” (2013)

    Funny video!

I loved “Deep Impact” because it differed from every other disaster movie due to the fact that Americans were handling it with dignity instead of looting ect. Much like New Yorkers handled 911.

    Also loved Idiocracy.
