Bill Maher To Democrats: Stand Your Ground, Stop Being Wimps And Embrace Jimmy Carter

Via HuffPo:

Bill Maher points out the obvious- Democrats are mostly political invertebrates, and they are headed for a disaster this November if they don’t find some courage.

“When a Tea Partyer says Obamacare is a government takeover, say ‘I wish!’ Because that would mean Medicare for All. And you know, Medicare is hugely popular in America. So let’s see — getting behind something that’s hugely popular, for all… No, too hard a sell.”

Also, Jimmy Carter was right about energy and so much else. Why are Dems ashamed of him?

UPDATE:
Let’s recall that President Obama dragged his feet for more than four years before putting solar panels back on the White House — because he didn’t want Faux News Channel to compare him to President Carter.

    Thanks Richard!

I’m proud to say that when my parents became “Reagan Democrats”, because they had to wait in line for gas, I cast my first vote for Jimmy Carter to stay in office.

And YES. If the Democrats would stand up and fight, instead of pretending they have to stay in line with Limbaugh, they would never lose an election.

But, then, there’s Diebold, redistricting, long lines in poor counties, voter caging, intimidation at the polls, you name it.. :(

    We’re in a hell of a mess!

As far as elections are being stolen, I left out the supreme court, didn’t I?

I know that brewski is a big supporter of Khomeini, but Carter probably knew more about was going in Iran at the time then any of us will ever know.

Except for Ted Koppel, of course!

So Obama finally got around to installing solar panels at the white house? Well that one blew right by the media, didn’t it?

    From Richard’s update article:

The White House official, who asked not to be identified because the installation is in process, wrote in an e-mail the project is “a part of an energy retrofit that will improve the overall energy efficiency of the building.”

    REALLY?

The White House official, asked not to be identified because the solar panel installation is in process? What the heck is this? Some kind of ongoing investigation?

That is the point of this thread. The executive branch should be beaming with excitement that they are restoring Jimmy Carters solar panels. What is this White House official worried about? Is his family in danger?

Hmm, maybe I answered my own question.

Isn’t ‘Stand Your Ground’ code for Blow Em Away?

Something the democrats should do. They need to remind the public that the GOP caused America to suffer for electing Obama twice.
