Bernie Sanders

Utahns normally expect that the outcome of the presidential primaries will be decided before we get to vote. Not this year!

Wow the tea bag party is going to be in Draper. I wonder if Mike Lee told his followers that a ten minute standing ovation comes over as phony. I doubt Churchill ever got a ten minute standing ovation, but Mike did once.

KSL News is reporting that 14,000 people attended Bernie’s rally today at This is The Place Heritage Park. That doesn’t count the overflow crowd across the street!

Most of Bernie’s speech was carried live on KSL.

Bernie is coming back to Utah on Monday to hold another rally at West High.

Trump speaking tonight at 7:00 pm.

I’ve heard the 14,000 figure on three different stations. I’m proud of Utah for getting out on a Friday, and I’m also commending KSL for providing the speech.

I attended, and it couldn’t have been a more beautiful day, with sparkling clean air for FREE!

The only thing that wasn’t free was the $25 Sanders hat I bought because I was dumb enough to leave mine home. I’m not good at standing in the sun for four and a half hours. 🙂 Turns out the organizers are good at what they do. They said to come about three hours early, and it took all that time to get everybody though the weapons check. There were lots of people who were late, that had to stand behind a police barrier, but all was good!

The crowd was so big, Sanders is coming back for the encore.

    Go Bernie!
