And this is the day that neoconservatism dies

As most of you have already heard, Ted Cruz has dropped out as did Kasich. The mainstream media has said that Republicans have never been more divided. Actually I think it is the exact opposite. Donald Trump has annihilated the competition and it should come to no surprise. As much as I can complain about Trump, he is not as bad as Cruz who preached religion until people were sick of it and wanted to have a 1950’s mentality of America. Those people are the unpopular minority and it’s about time. The reason I say this is because Ted Cruz had no chance of winning even when the GOP put all the effort into getting him elected. To me, that is good. That means for once, the goalpost has moved to the left.

I’m not going to miss Old-Testament-Ted. The last thing we needed was a Christian reconstructionist in the white house.

I’m confused about how this GOP nomination thing works. Now that everybody but Trump has dropped out, does that mean he gets all the votes from the remaining states, which would obviously clinch the nomination or not. On the media, they are still acting like he might not have it.

Hillary is a neoliberal on domestic policy, but solid neocon on foreign policy, endorsed by PNAC co-founder Robert Kagan.

      Robert Parry asks:

“Do Democrats really trust Hillary Clinton to handle delicate issues, such as the Syrian conflict, without resorting to escalations that may make the neocon disasters under George W. Bush look minor by comparison?”

That’s actually a good question, and a damn good one. Kagan isn’t the only one courting the Hillary candidacy. Elliot Abrams and many others are too. I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see Bill Krystol warm up to her now.

For the first time in my life, I don’t know if I can vote for a Democrat for president unless it’s Sanders, whom I KNOW won’t attract this type of war scum. I’m literally, lost in the wilderness, and I hate it!
