Mike Weinholtz Takes On Governor Herbert In First Debate

I took the liberty of modifying the only known recording of this important event by cropping a citizens cell phone recording and amplifying the sound. This one-on-one debate nearly didn’t happen. Herbert only agreed to debate Weinholtz once on September 26th, but changed his mind at the last minute. I guess you could call this a flash debate.

I wanted people to see what a great leader Weinholtz would be for Utah. He really did a great job!

Original debate video can be found at Mike Weinholtz’s webpage.

I think Herbert showed up at the very last minute because he was afraid people were going to start calling him, “Unavailable Jones”. What makes me mad is that none of the media will play the debate. Seems sort of important to know about the governor.

We need transparent government in Utah. As Mr. Weinholtz said in the debate, everything is done behind closed doors now. If you go to Mike’s webpage, (link provided in post), you can click on (view more comments), on the debate video post, to see some input from an old Utah icon, Dick Nourse.

I just found out that the only scheduled debate between Weinholtz and Herbert will be held on the 26th; the same night as the Clinton/Trump debate. How convenient.

I have updated this post with yesterday’s televised debate between Weinholtz and Herbert.

One thing I always noticed is how Gary Herbert was talking fast in a hard to understand way and Mike Weinholtz was talking slowly and trying to be understood.

There’s a reason people talk fast folks.

I took down the update because I realized the lips didn’t mesh up with the sound. It was from ABC4’s website. I think they want the internet to look bad so people will have to watch television. Every time I go to a television news website to watch the news, the videos hang up constantly. YouTube works great.
