Trump Approval = 36 Percent

America wants you here

According to a Quinnipiac University poll released Thursday, 44 percent of respondents disapproved of Trump’s handling of his job as President thus far, while 36 percent approved. Nineteen percent of respondents were undecided.

Trump started out as the least-popular ever, and he is down 8 points in his first week. And that was before the sudden implementation of his idiotic and unconstitutional Muslim ban caused chaos at airports across the country. We now have a full-blown constitutional crisis because some federal employees – apparently on orders from the White House – are refusing to abide by a court order halting the Muslim ban.

As the rule of law crumbles, Reince Priebus told Chuck Todd “We apologize for nothing.” Trump himself said that his Muslim ban was “working out very nicely.”

So far the Dems are not putting up enough opposition to Trump, but the way things are going the Tea-GOP Congress is going to have to stop him or face losing the next election.

You guys must be daft, or simply in cahoots with liars.

These are the same people told us Bernie was losing, Hildebeest was more popular and that Trump couldn’t be elected ham sandwich for a day.

If you want to be taken seriously you are going to have to dump the fake news..He is President, everything you spewed and spouted were lies.

    Don’t double down on irrelevancy..this isn’t doesn’t make a positive.

Got some “alternative facts” to offer, or just word salad?

Aren’t you guys tired of being the doormat for idiots?

Oh, it looks like Project Veritas found somebody to take their money, create violence, and have Breitbart blame it on the left.

      I knew it.

Another epic Trump fail. Because this is a day ending in “y.”

Trump gives National Security Council seat to ex-Breitbart chief Steve Bannon

The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs is out, along with the Director of National Intelligence. Who needs them? Trump has a very good brain.

    • #6 by Larry Bergan on January 29, 2017 - 1:30 pm

They’re probably terrified the National Security Council is going to be talking about them.

After surveying the wreckage of the last 20 years based on lies and resulting in well over a million dead and the horrible practice of drone assassination carried out with a VENGEANCE by obama..having ANYONE related to this mess, military or civilian, they need the BOOT if they are not onboard the way this administration is to operate. They’re gone!! Best move ever.

Indeed Trump has a very good brain and knows fuck ups and screwheads who created and enacted these policies and wars based on lies, when he sees them.

Enjoy your will no longer be executing war for profit based on lies it appears..

    Drain the Swamp..

Robert Kuttner: The Inevitability Of Impeachment

Given the sheer danger to the Republic as well as to the Republicans, Trump’s impeachment will happen. The only question is how grave a catastrophe America faces first.

    • #11 by Larry Bergan on January 29, 2017 - 10:41 pm

That’s what you’d call, “in a nutshell”. My thoughts exactly.

  6. #12 by Larry Bergan on January 29, 2017 - 10:42 pm

The airport protests are fantastic. America fights back, with no help from Democratic leaders.

    • #13 by Richard Warnick on January 30, 2017 - 6:22 am

Some Dems came out for the protests (for example Chuck Schumer, John Lewis, and Elizabeth Warren), but according to Joe Scarborough this morning a lot of them are cowed because they think Trump’s Muslim ban has widespread support.

  7. #14 by Nathan Erkkila on January 30, 2017 - 3:29 am

You are quite the optimist about that. There are policies that Trump is putting in place where if he boosts the economy and the democrats do not learn from their mistakes, then we will see not only 8 years of Trump, but a GOP supermajority in 2018.

    • #15 by Richard Warnick on January 30, 2017 - 6:17 am

Trump is not boosting the economy, far from it. Trump’s Great Recession (hopefully not a full-blown depression) is coming.

Going to take a long time to ameliorate the fuckups entailed in the two party sham these last 16 years..

Nobody could do a worse job than obama and the cooked numbers in economy and employment these last 8 years. Already there are at least prospects of slowing the bleeding of jobs to cheap labor markets..America was never a richer nation than when tariffs were effected. This is the market and people will pay to serve it…this is what is KNOWN, as it is historic truth. Enter globalism and America is in the tank..IT’S OBVIOUS!!

As for the Osprey it is another piece of shit like the F-35, and I am assuming under Trump we won’t be funding such garbage much longer..That stupid thing has killed more Marines than Yemeni terrorists..

Susan Sarandon deserves credit for being right about this last March. “Some people feel that Donald Trump will bring the revolution immediately, if he gets in. Then things will really, you know, explode…”

  10. #18 by glenn hoefer on January 30, 2017 - 5:08 pm

^^^It is quite a show…and Sarandon was the only progressive I read about of note that knew the HildeBeest is a piece of shit and wouldn’t have her..that Trump would be better..

..and boy oh boy he is..he is the best at destroying the shit wallow American politics has become..

He is exceeding expectations from my end..He’s PERFECT!!

    • #19 by Richard Warnick on January 31, 2017 - 5:40 am

Sarandon clearly did not say Trump would be better, though some deliberately misconstrued her remark at the time. But she did correctly predict the reaction of most Americans to Trump’s shit show.

      • #20 by Larry Bergan on January 31, 2017 - 8:11 am

Sarandon was right, but we better get him out of there before he starts WWIII. I can’t imagine a worse scenario then having Trump at the helm during the worst war in human history.

But hey! The MIC believes war is great for the economy, however they’re probably thinking Trump would make the best, first casualty.

War would sure make a great excuse to end Social Security and Medicare. For some reason, I’m not having many positive thoughts lately.

Things are on the move…I might get on board or out of the way. Trump is open to any dialogue..what pray tell after the prior 8 yr debacle do you mean to say?

The rejection of the politics and results of them from the left are well understood by many Americans. They want it to end. It is going to.

Just what we need… A winger leaning polling outfit with alternate reality polls.

  12. #23 by glenn hoefer on January 31, 2017 - 10:02 am

We are far less likely to have a devastating war with Trump than the utterly co-opted obama who sponsored a Maidan nazi in the Ukraine on Russia’s doorstep.

That madness and clinton’s continuation of it was the spark of the next WW should we have had the misfortune of having her win the election. She of course just the skinboat of the PNAC neo con whores who sponsored her and of which she is part and parcel..

  13. #24 by Larry Bergan on January 31, 2017 - 1:32 pm

Yeah Glenn, what the world needs is war without any diplomacy. Just a billionaire brat and his Nazi advisor pissing everybody off. You can say a lot of things about Bill Clinton, but he wasn’t anywhere near this dangerous to the world.

It’s so great to see who you actually are though, because you haven’t provided that in the ten years you’ve been on this blog before. Do you live in America?

  14. #25 by glenn hoefer on February 1, 2017 - 7:40 am

You might want to check yourself until something actually happens Larry..

There is as yet no carpet like bombing of Bosnia, Serbia wrecking of all major bridges on The Danube which pretty much knocked the regions economy for 4 years..along with all the other assorted destruction.

Let’s also not forget l’il billy cigar is also a president who escalated the US troop deployments to Kuwait setting the stage well for Gulf War 2: Operation Imbecile.

It is good to remember how this duopoly has been warring non stop and pulling the wool over most eyes…Quick reads to reinforce the truth so as to become more objective.

Correction 49% approving and 42% unapproving.

  16. #27 by Larry Bergan on February 2, 2017 - 12:31 am

You don’t want to go there Ken.

Trump had a 51% disapproval rating on Saturday according to Gallup.

It took Obama 936 days into his term to get a majority disapproval rating.

Trump achieved that in 8 days.

Time to start a BIG war and see if we can get those up, huh?

  17. #28 by Richard Warnick on February 16, 2017 - 7:18 pm

Today Trump dumped a whole truckload of alt-facts on us. Among other things, he said his administration is “running like a fine-tuned machine” and the roll-out of the Muslim Ban was “very smooth.”

    Best Protest Sign Ever
