Archive for category Election Fraud
This strategy is only supposed to work if the election is close and after Americas parents had to tell their children what sexual groping was, it doesn’t look like it’s going to be.
Projecting election theft on democrats is a very old trick by now, that should embarrass the hell out of congressional Democrats who refused to expose it. There is essentially no “voter fraud” and the Republicans pimping it probably know that better then anyone else, since they are the ones who have made election fraud into an art form for many years.
It’s probably gone down the memory hole by now, but a lot of us remember the battle that took place in Wisconsin, after the grass roots there decided they’d had enough of Scott Walker, and petitioned successfully for a recall. I even went to a pretty well attended rally in Salt Lake called “Stand With Wisconsin“. Yep, that’s Utah’s state capitol!
It seems as if Wisconsin was being used as a test case for ACTUAL election fraud. Documents that were strangely ordered destroyed, showed up recently concerning a suspicious judicial race there benefiting governor Walker. It has not been reported on by the media at large. It’s obvious there was some disturbing public manipulation going on, but too complex for a media that can only focus on fake fraud, bumper sticker arguments.
“Do we need to start messaging ‘widespread reports of election fraud’ so we are positively set up for the recount regardless of the final number? I obviously think we should,”
“”Talk radio needs to scream the Dems are trying to steal the race…We need to declare victory first so it appears that the results are being overturned if they go the wrong way.”
One of the talk radio hosts that was willing to play along in Wisconsin, came clean not too long ago about his involvement in bringing America to this embarrassing and dangerous point.
Here is a detailed report from “The Guardian” about the complex matter, but I think the best way to learn about the intricacies of the story are more easily absorbed by listening to this commentary and interview that Brad Friedman did with attorney Brendan Fischer on September 15th. Not an once of sensationalism; just right to the point information from two people who followed the story judiciously, all those years ago.
Here’s the story as it appeared on Brad Friedman’s longtime archive of actual election fraud in this country. You should listen to his excellent free podcasts provided every week day, and donate like I do.
Dark money was coming in from wealthy people all over to support this undemocratic action in a state previously known for honest government, and candidate Donald Trump was one of them, unless you believe in ridiculous coincidences more then I do.
Please spend the time to listen, just in case the 2016 election is close enough to allow this sort of debauchery again.
Will the media report on the exit poll mystery that they have refused to report on for over the past decade? Now that it’s come to a RICO lawsuit against THEM, will they report that? 😀
Who among the presidential candidates is going to able to make the best case that he can’t be manipulated by the banks or the corporations? “He” is the operative word here? Face it: ordinary people from both allowed parties are upset at the establishment, and Hillary Clinton has been forced to take money from them and succumb to their rules. Trump has made promises to the establishment too, but we can’t know that until it’s too late.
I’m a 64 year old man, but there are other old men and women who feel like we’re not being listened to, or having our votes counted anymore. What kind of democratic republic is that?
I’m sure the younger “voters” are getting the fact that this primary is too complex for a reason, and total nonsense. We all are. Young people and old people who have been defined as stupid American voters are mad as hell, and aren’t going to take this shit any more! That’s my hope. Voting on corporate computer machines through the mail, online, or any other way is just madness. If you don’t get that, have your damn head examined!
The old, media maligned, anti-war youth, (hippies), are uniting with the new, maligned anti-war youth, who haven’t been given a stupid name yet. They’re called millennials until the war-happy media can figure out a more demeaning term.
Maybe I’m just an old asshole with another opinion, but watch this, instead of watching the petrified “main steam” media, who’ve been slapped with a RICO lawsuit if you want to keep up:
UPDATE: Hell, don’t let Russian Television, “Redacted Tonight” shape your mind. Watch the whole two and a half hours of the meeting and decide for yourself. Lot’s more angering information here, if you dare:
I took a copy of this years White House correspondents dinner video over to my 95 year old mom’s house because I thought we might get a laugh out of it, and I like to cheer her up.
None of this years remaining candidates showed up except for Bernie Sanders. I can imagine why Donald Trump didn’t attend, because president Obama really handed it to him – for about five minutes – the last time he was there, and he wasn’t even running for president then, but you have to wonder why Hillary, Cruz and Kasich didn’t want to be at the premiere event of the season.
In a year when it looks like things are shaping up to only give the American voters a chance to vote for two candidates that, frankly, most Americans hate, all the jokes fell a bit flat to me.
I’m sure I was in a bad mood, but my mom and I really wanted Bernie to win, and were proud that Utah had stood up so strong for him. I couldn’t understand why Obama kept bringing up the word, democracy, with all of the voter suppression going on.
I get sort of emotional when I’m around mom, but I couldn’t help but tear up.
I don’t know if he got a note from his mother or not, but Grover Norquist was scheduled to be on the “Diane Rehm Show” on Thursday to defend ALEC. If he chickened out, it looks bad because the panel would have been stacked by 2.5 in his favor – two and a half because the American journalist for the Washington Post is only allowed to give lies and truth equal consideration.
It was a hard order for Norquist, because Google had announced it was not going to give funds to ALEC, a week earlier on the Rehm peogram, after an online petition promted the mega-corporation to reconsider it’s association with that organization. Thanks Google!
I’m not so sure it was a bad thing the panel was stacked in favor of ALEC. It would have looked bad to finish off a wounded animal on a forum devoted to friendly, but incisive, discussion.
You have to hand it to the new chief executive officer of ALEC; She didn’t call in sick and proceeded to praise ALEC for passing tons of legislation. All of the legislation that ALEC has passed is pro-business/anti-worker-voter, but heck!
And thanks to NPR and KUER for giving us information instead of just football. There is a place for everything though, and every Wedensday they feature a great sports commentator in the morning who always makes me laugh.
Listen or read the program here. Two important callers involved in this story near the end of the show.
The battle isn’t between the “conservatives” and “liberals”, it’s between the pro-corporate and the pro-worker Democrats.
Sorry conservatives, you have “Blown in the Wind”. You have no political capital whatsoever and that’s why you are openly stealing elections because even YOU can’t trust the corporate voting machines. You are going to win the house again because of your gerrymandering, but the youth are onto you and your time will soon be up. Averse to what George-the-lesser thought, stealing elections doesn’t give you any political capital, and the so-called millennials understand that.
Buckle up. It’s going to be a wild ride!
Thank you, MSNBC:
If this dude is a comedian, he better find another job:
But in this case, past tragedy. Tragedy not usually experienced as widely as as it could be, or was in the past.
That’s not saying it couldn’t happen again to anybody, but you know what they say:
Humor is the best medicine:
Why does the Supreme Court keep injecting themselves into our voting system, enabling the plutocrats to get their way? Here comes another 5 to 4 vote. You can count on it. When justice Scalia stunned the court this week by saying the voting rights act is a “perpetuation of racial entitlement”, what was he talking about?
Sounds like Scalia’s living in another era. This is every bit as much about white peoples right to vote as any other race. I’ve been struggling to know my vote is being counted ever since Scalia and his gang of five stole the presidential race in 2000. After all, Scalia said that Americans didn’t necessarily have the RIGHT to vote for their president. He didn’t say anything about congresspeople, but we know that in the 2012 election, Democrats in the house got far more votes then Republicans. Gerrymandering stole the day for the losers there, but let’s face it, republican election fraud has so many avenues in the 21st century, you wouldn’t know where to turn without GPS.
If any of these clueless old white guys who watch Fox “news” think they’re going to benefit from preventing people who make less then a billion dollars a year from voting, they are going to feel pretty silly standing there with their pants down when the realization of what has happened finally hits them. Bush v Gore, Citizens United, and now this! Haven’t we been hearing for years that Judges shouldn’t be legislating from the bench? The Voting Rights Act has been reauthorized numerous times and the last time was in 2005, when the Senate voted 98 to 0 to retain it.
This reminds me of the kind of hubris exposed by Ron Suskind in this 2004 statement, which most now believe was made by Karl Rove, (someone who is widely believed to be rigging our elections):
The aide said that guys like me were ”in what we call the reality-based community,” which he defined as people who ”believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality.” I nodded and murmured something about enlightenment principles and empiricism. He cut me off. ”That’s not the way the world really works anymore,” he continued. ”We’re an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you’re studying that reality — judiciously, as you will — we’ll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that’s how things will sort out. We’re history’s actors . . . and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do.”
Robert Parry gives an insight into how we got here in his recent article concerning the coming supreme court ruling on the voting rights act:
Over the past half century, wealthy right-wingers have invested millions and millions of dollars in “think tanks” and other research institutions – the likes of Heritage Foundation, Cato Institute and Federalist Society – that have worked diligently to cherry-pick the nation’s early history to transform America’s Founding narrative into its opposite, with Washington and Madison made into states’ rights lovers and federal government haters.
The hubris has become so visible that during Obama’s last election, a Republican governor was bragging about suppressing votes for the president, and Fox “news” had to cut to a commercial when Karl Rove tried to halt the announcement of Obama’s victory.
This isn’t just enraging, it’s downright dangerous!
NOTE: OK, I doctored the photo of Scalia, but we all know that’s what he meant.
