Our political and nuclear dilemma with India

Following the Mumbai attacks, how does the United States tell India they can’t conduct a military attack on Pakistan soil? Particularly when you consider we are conducting “operations in countries [e.g. Pakistan and Syria] not at war with the United States”, under authority of a secret order approved by President Bush.

And even more important, will India listen to the U.S.? Or does the possibility loom for a nuclear conflagration? With both India and Pakistan having nuclear weapons, we are going to have to do some serious tap dancing to cool down the situation.

Do as I say, not as I do.
